The Central Texas Farmers Co-op is a farmer-owned and operated business providing Central Texans with the highest quality local food through our ‘Community Supported Agriculture’ (or CSA) program. Our fundamental philosophy is that we’re stronger together! Through aggregating our products, we provide our community an excellent selection and convenient access to fresh, locally grown meat and vegetables. We are on the hunt for an Operations Manager, a position that offers a flexible part-time schedule, primarily remote work, and the chance to shape the future of local food in Central Texas.
**Your Role Will Involve:**
1. **Driving Operations:** Managing finances and staff, keeping our website updated, and maintaining effective day-to-day operations of the co-op.
2. **Cultivating Relationships:** Collaborate with local farmers, maintain excellent customer relationships, and liaise with our board of directors.
3. **Boosting Our Brand:** Lead dynamic marketing campaigns, produce engaging content, and plan exciting events to foster community.
4. **Ensuring Quality & Safety:** Oversee the packing and distribution of our CSA shares, adhering to the highest standards of quality and food safety.
**You Are:**
* Experienced in operations management, finance, and customer service
* Knowledgeable about local food systems and farming
* A skilled communicator with excellent digital literacy
* A self-starter, ready to work autonomously and bring exciting ideas
